Spaghetti and Meatballs


Spaghetti and meatballs is one of the most popular of the Italian dishes. It is relatively easy to prepare and with spaghetti and meatballs, you can feed an army for cheap.


  • 1 box of spaghetti
  • 2 jars of spaghetti sauce
  • ½ pound of ground beef
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup of bread crumbs
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • ½ tablespoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • ½ teaspoon of Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon of garlic salt
  • 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • Parmesan cheese


Begin by preparing the meatballs. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, eggs, bread crumbs, onion, 1 tablespoon of salt, Italian seasoning, and garlic salt. Using your hands, combine the ingredients until they are fully incorporated. Take a small handful of the meat mixture, and roll it between your palms to form a ball. Continue doing this until all of the meat mixture has been made into meatballs.

Pour 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a skillet, and heat it over medium heat. Place the meatballs in the pan, and stir them around, browning the surface of each meatball.

Pour the spaghetti sauce into a pan over medium heat. Add the meatballs and allow them to cook in the sauce for about an hour, or until the inside is no longer pink.

Fill a large pot with water, and add the olive oil and ½ teaspoon of salt. Bring the water to a boil. Take the spaghetti out of the box and break it in half before putting it in the pan. Allow the spaghetti to cook for about 10 minutes or until tender. Using a colander, drain the water and return it back to the pan.

Pour the meatballs and sauce into the pot containing the spaghetti, and stir.

Top each individual plate with Parmesan cheese.

  • 1 box of angel hair pasta
  • 1 jar of spaghetti sauce
  • ½ pound of ground beef
  • ½ pound of Italian sausage, with the casings removed
  • 2 cups of mozzarella cheese
  • 1/3 cup of Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup of butter
  • 2 tablespoons of salt
  • 3 tablespoons of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons of pepper
  • 2 teaspoons of basil
  • 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon of oregano
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon of salt


Begin by preparing the pasta. Break the pasta in half and dump it in a large pot of boiling water. Cook for about 10 minutes or until it is tender. Using a colander, drain the pasta and return it to the pan. Add the butter, Parmesan cheese, 3 tablespoons of salt, garlic salt, and basil in with the pasta. Stir well until the ingredients are fully incorporated. Take the pasta and put it in a pie pan, shaping it into a crust. Set the pan aside.

In a large skillet, combine the ground beef, Italian sausage, 2 tablespoons of salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and oregano. Cook until the ground beef is no longer pink and the sausage is cooked. Pour the spaghetti sauce into the mixture and stir well.

Fill the pasta crust with the meat mixture. Make sure that it is spread evenly all around. Preheat the oven to 350, and bake covered for 20 minutes. Next, remove from the oven and sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the top. Continue baking for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Pepperoni Lasagna


If you are a meat lover, this is the recipe for you. It doesn’t take long to prepare, and can be prepped ahead of time if need be.


  • 1 box of lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • 1 pound of Italian sausage, with the casings removed
  • 80 slices of pepperoni
  • 2 jars of spaghetti sauce
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of oregano
  • 2 teaspoons of Italian seasoning
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 container of ricotta cheese
  • 4 cups of mozzarella cheese
  • Pinch of basil
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil


In a large skillet, combine the ground beef, Italian sausage, 2 tablespoons of salt, oregano, and Italian seasoning. Cook over medium heat until the mixture is cooked through. Pour all but 1½ cups of the spaghetti sauce over the mixture and stir well. Set the pan aside.

In a small bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, eggs, and basil. Mix until fully incorporated, and set aside.

Fill a large pot with water. Add the olive oil and ½ teaspoon of salt. When the water is boiling, add the lasagna noodles. Cook until they are tender. Drain the water in a colander and return them to the pan.

Pour ½ cup of spaghetti sauce in the bottom of a lasagna pan. Spread the ricotta cheese mixture on each of the lasagna noodles, and lay them down at the bottom of the pan. Next, lay down a coating of the meat mixture, followed by a layer of pepperoni. Top with a layer of mozzarella cheese. Continue doing this until you have made 3 layers. Top the final layer with uncoated lasagna noodles, coated with 1 cup of spaghetti sauce. Add one more layer of pepperoni and one more layer of cheese.

Cover the dish with foil and place in the oven, preheated to 350 degrees. Cook for 30 minutes. Remove the cover, and cook for another 15 minutes.
